Her father was an agronomist for the UN, so she was educated in Europe before spending time in Colombia and Mexico before moving to La Jolla, California permanently at age fourteen. Her eight years in Europe affected her and made her appreciate her latin heritage.
She graduated from the University of San Diego where she earned a degree in literature, philosophy, and theater. After earning her degree, she began working with comedians and writing jokes while also working at an
